In 2017, the New Librarians’ Symposium is heading to the heart of it all – the National Library of Australia in Canberra.
The NLA building was opened in 1968 and is situated in a stunning position on Lake Burley Griffin, not far from Canberra’s CBD. And thanks to the NLA’s generous support, we’re taking it over for three days in June!
Contained in its walls are some of the most important cultural collections in Australia – and some of the most talented library professionals in the country, who ensure these collections are made available to everybody across the world. It’s thanks to the NLA and the people working there that Australians have access to world-leading services such as the PANDORA Archive and Trove.
